For professional use. This test is intended to be performed by, or under the supervision of, a healthcare professional. It is supplied in a single Testera pack.

A rapid test that detects Candida albicans, Trichomonas vaginalis and Gardnerella vaginalis antigens in vaginal discharge. It helps identify the most common causes of vaginitis: bacterial vaginosis, vaginal thrush (candidiasis) and trichomoniasis. Result in 15 minutes.

Why test?

The most common causes of vaginitis are bacterial vaginosis (an imbalance of vaginal bacteria with overgrowth of Gardnerella and others), a yeast infection with Candida albicans (thrush), and the sexually transmitted infection trichomoniasis. They can cause changed or unpleasant-smelling discharge, itching, burning, redness or swelling, though some women have no symptoms. Because the symptoms are similar, the test helps point to the likely cause. If the result is positive or symptoms continue, see a doctor – especially during pregnancy.

Common questions

What can the test detect?
Antigens of Candida albicans (thrush), Trichomonas vaginalis (trichomoniasis) and Gardnerella vaginalis (bacterial vaginosis) from one swab.

When should I take the test?
When you notice unusual discharge, itching, burning or odour. Follow the leaflet on timing around your period and vaginal products.

What should I do after a positive result?
See a doctor or gynaecologist for treatment. Trichomoniasis is sexually transmitted, so your partner may also need treatment.

For professional use. Rapid tests are for preliminary screening; the diagnosis is made by a doctor.

Free delivery on orders over €30 (€50 to Latvia and Estonia) (below that: €3.99 in Lithuania, €7.99 to Latvia and Estonia). Dispatched within 24 hours on business days; delivery usually takes 1–3 business days in Lithuania and 2–5 in Latvia and Estonia. Unopened tests can be returned within 14 days.

Sample collection: Insert the sterile swab into the vagina and rotate it for about 20 seconds. Place the swab into the sample processing tube and begin the test immediately according to the test method. Test method: Open the extraction tube, immediately insert the collected swab, squeeze the tube for 1 minute and rotate the swab 10–15 times, squeeze the swab against the wall of the tube and discard it. You will then have the sample solution in the tube. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and place it on a flat, horizontal surface. Add 2 drops (about 60 µl) of the processed sample solution into each well of the test cassette, start timing and wait for the result to appear. Read the results after 15 minutes. Do not interpret results after 20 minutes.

Results: Negative result: Control line (C) appears in the observation window, but the test line (T) is not visible. Positive result: Two coloured lines must be visible in the observation window: lines (C) and (T). Invalid result: If the control line (C) is not visible, the test is considered invalid, regardless of whether the test line (T) is visible or not.
This test does not replace a doctor's consultation. If you have symptoms, a positive or unclear result, or any doubt, speak to a healthcare professional.
About this test

Questions about this test

Read the instruction leaflet in the pack before you start. Collect your sample as described, apply it to the test, and read the result within the time stated in the leaflet. Do not read the result after that time.

The accuracy shown on this page comes from the manufacturer's validation data. No self-test is 100% accurate, so a result is an indication, not a diagnosis.

The test is invalid. Do not interpret the result. Repeat the test with a new one and follow the leaflet carefully.

Speak to a doctor or pharmacist. A self-test does not replace a medical consultation, and a negative result does not always rule out a condition, especially if you have symptoms.

Store it as described in the leaflet and keep it sealed until use. Do not use a test after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Delivery is free on orders over €30 (€50 to Latvia and Estonia). Orders are dispatched from Vilnius within 24 hours on business days. Delivery is usually 1-3 business days in Lithuania and 2-5 business days in Latvia and Estonia. Shipping policy
