Male Fertility Rapid Test (semen)

€15,37
Fertility Mens health

A rapid test that shows whether sperm concentration reaches 15 million/mL – the reference value for normal concentration. Result in 5 minutes. It does not assess sperm motility or shape and does not replace a semen analysis (spermogram).

Why test?

Infertility means not achieving pregnancy after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse, and in about half of couples a male factor is involved. A low sperm count is a common cause and usually has no symptoms. Smoking, alcohol, overweight, overheating of the testicles, some medicines and illnesses can increase the risk. The home test gives an indication of sperm concentration. If the result is low or pregnancy does not happen, see a doctor for a full semen analysis.

Common questions

What does the test measure?
Whether sperm concentration is at least 15 million per mL, based on the SP-10 sperm protein.

Does a normal result mean I am fertile?
It means concentration is in the normal range, but motility and shape also matter. If pregnancy does not happen within a year, see a doctor.

What if the result is low?
Repeat the test after at least 6 days without ejaculation. If it is still low, discuss it with a doctor.

Rapid tests are for preliminary screening and do not replace a doctor’s consultation.

Repeat after at least 6 days without ejaculation; if still low, see a doctor.Invalid: no C line. Usually too little sample or a missed step. Repeat with a new test.

About this test

Questions about this test

Read the instruction leaflet in the pack before you start. Collect your sample as described, apply it to the test, and read the result within the time stated in the leaflet. Do not read the result after that time.

The accuracy shown on this page comes from the manufacturer's validation data. No self-test is 100% accurate, so a result is an indication, not a diagnosis.

The test is invalid. Do not interpret the result. Repeat the test with a new one and follow the leaflet carefully.

Speak to a doctor or pharmacist. A self-test does not replace a medical consultation, and a negative result does not always rule out a condition, especially if you have symptoms.

Store it as described in the leaflet and keep it sealed until use. Do not use a test after the expiry date printed on the pack.
