Disposable Alcohol Breath Test (exhaled air)

€3,79
Drug alcohol

A compact single-use breathalyser that estimates the alcohol concentration in your exhaled breath and shows whether a set limit has been exceeded. The limit is adapted to the legal requirements of the market where it is sold.

Why test?

Alcohol slows reaction time and impairs coordination and judgement, so even a small amount increases the risk of road accidents and injuries. The body breaks alcohol down slowly, so the morning after a party your level can still be above the legal driving limit even if you feel sober. A single-use breathalyser lets you do a quick check before driving. The result is not legally binding – if in doubt, do not drive.

Common questions

How do I use a single-use breathalyser?
Wait at least 15–20 minutes after your last drink or meal, blow evenly into the tube for the stated time and check whether the crystals change colour past the marked line.

Is a single-use breathalyser accurate?
It shows whether the set limit has been exceeded, not your exact blood alcohol level. If in doubt, do not drive.

What is the legal limit for driving?
It depends on the country. In many European countries the general limit is 0.5‰, in some 0.2 or 0.4‰, and novice or professional drivers often have a 0.0–0.2‰ limit. The safest choice is to drive completely sober.

The result is indicative and not legally binding.

About this test

Questions about this test

Read the instruction leaflet in the pack before you start. Collect your sample as described, apply it to the test, and read the result within the time stated in the leaflet. Do not read the result after that time.

The accuracy shown on this page comes from the manufacturer's validation data. No self-test is 100% accurate, so a result is an indication, not a diagnosis.

The test is invalid. Do not interpret the result. Repeat the test with a new one and follow the leaflet carefully.

Speak to a doctor or pharmacist. A self-test does not replace a medical consultation, and a negative result does not always rule out a condition, especially if you have symptoms.

Store it as described in the leaflet and keep it sealed until use. Do not use a test after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Delivery is free on orders over €30 (€50 to Latvia and Estonia). Orders are dispatched from Vilnius within 24 hours on business days. Delivery is usually 1-3 business days in Lithuania and 2-5 business days in Latvia and Estonia. Shipping policy
